Coffee filter appliance

The beverage appliance has a unit (3) to boil the water with a heater (17), and a membrane filter module (10) to filter the water fed to the tank unit (3). The membrane filter module (10) has at least one nano filtration membrane. Or it has two nano filtration membranes, with spacers between them. The appliance also has a tank for unfiltered water, to be transferred to the membrane filter module (10) by a pump (8) at a pressure of 10-15 bar at the filter membrane module (10). The membrane filter module (10) has an outflow (11) to return unfiltered water to the supply tank. One membrane spacer is the feed spacer, for the unfiltered water to be pumped through, and a second and separate spacer passes the permeate into the filtered water tank (3). The heater (17) is an electric heating rod, in the tank (3) for filtered water. The filtered water tank (3) has a sensor (15) to register the filtered water level. The filtered water passes through an outlet (16) into a swing coffee filter holder (5), as the outlet (16) is opened for a given time period after the filtered water has been heated to a temp. pref. of 95 deg C. The water passes through the filter holder (5) into a coffee pot (6) on a platform (18) with height adjustment. The unfiltered water passes through an initial sieve (7) before reaching the membrane filter module (10).
