The circuit arrangement exchanges signals between a control device (1) and at least two data lines (2,21), e.g. cable, optical fibre, radio or ultrasound link, whereby the control device is connected with the two data lines over an interface (15). A switching unit (17) is provided in one data line (21), which is connected with the control device. The switching unit interrupts the data connection between the control device and the data line after reception of a switch-off signal from the control device. The control device switches the switching unit off before sending out a predetermined signal, especially a security-related signal.
