Cooling bodies (5-7) are located in between the inner and outer walls (3, 4) of the container (1), cover (2) or tray. A cooling device preferably used for storing food (especially meals) at low temperature, comprises a container for the food, a cover for sealing the container, and one or more cooling bodies located inside the container between the inner and outer container or cover walls. Independent claims are also included for (a) a similar device where the cooling medium is located in the space in between the inner and outer walls of the cover, (b) a cooling device for food containers, comprising a double-walled dinner tray with a cooling medium in between the top and bottom walls, and (c) the production method for these devices. |
