The circuit has an arrangement forming an inductance and a capacitance in the form of a superconducting loop designed so that the inductance is interrupted by the capacitance at one point. The capacitance can be a hairpin configuration. The inductance can be a superconducting ring. An Independent claim is also included for a SQUID system with a planar RF resonator.
