<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a handwritten code processor by which a handwritten code is compressed with high efficiency without impairing the quality of a handwriting trace. SOLUTION: This processor has an input control means 2 which converts coordinate data into handwriting information having no dependency on hardware according to characteristic information that a setting register 3 holds and a display control means 9 which converts the handwriting information into a display screen matching a display means 10 according to the characteristic information and then a correct display and stable compressibility can be expected even for data detected by a device having different detection precision. Further, a handwriting coding means 4 generates a handwritten code making good use of such characteristics that the size of an acceleration vector and a successive frequency are in inverse proportion as to handwriting input and while the quality of the handwriting trace is secured by decreasing the resolution of the handwriting information according to the rate of a speed increase to a means handwriting speed, high-efficiency compression is performed.</p> |
