The invention relates to an adhesive body, especially to produce a bond with a foamed plastic moulded body (10) during the moulding process by means of foamed material with individual adhesive elements (14) arranged on a carrier strip (10) and covered with an outer covering agent (18) to prevent the foamed material from penetrating therein. The covering agent (18) is an adhesive agent which clings adhesively to the front the front faces of the adhesive elements (14) and which can be removed therefrom by uncovering the adhesive elements (14). The adhesive bodies can be used in an economical manner and can be bonded to the foamed plastic moulded body to guarantee high security so that no foamed material enters into contact with the adhesive elements during the foaming process.
