The instrument comprises a wine-tasting goblet 1 and a foot 2, the goblet 1 having special proportions and, on its corresponding stem 4, a perimetral flange 6 forming a support platform for the foot 2, which platform 6 is located close to the lower part of the vessel 3 of the goblet 1, allowing holding of the latter with entering into contact with the vessel 3 thereof. The foot 2 has areas 10, 11, 12 and 13 which show colours corresponding to the various tonalities of wines, data which correspond to period of production and vintage, data corresponding to the temperature for serving various wines, and most characteristic aromas (tastes) in accordance with the tonality of the actual wines, so that by comparing the colour of the wine with that appearing on the corresponding area of the foot 2, the characteristics which correspond to this area or sector will be precisely those of the wine contained in the goblet. <IMAGE>
