<p>A back electrode (6), a filament hot cathode (7) serving as an electron beam source, and an electrode unit (8) are arranged and secured to a back case (4). Wire electrodes (9) secured to a grid frame (10) are aligned with the stripes of a phosphor screen (2) and secured to a support frame (11) disposed in a front case (3) through stud pins (21). With this constitution, when the front and back cases are joined with adhesive, the misalignment between the phosphor screen (2) and the wire electrodes (9) is suppressed in an allowable range. Thus, the flat display displays a good image.</p> |
