<p>Device for measuring bending in mechanical constructions, comprising three sensors in a cylindrical housing (150) provided with three inner cavities (102, 104, 106) and four anchoring points (110, 111, 112, 113) which carry and fix an optical fibre (120) extending through the device. The optical fibre (120) comprises three Bragg gratings located in first, second and third cavities (102, 104, 106), respectively. The dimensions of the cavities and prestressing of the gratings (121, 122, 123) gives different wave length shift for the three gratings as a function of bending, tension and temperature, respectively, thus the bending load can be measured accurately.</p> |
