A floating production installation, including a main moonpool (1) and wherein the ship is designed to turn primarily about a centre of rotation (3) so as to be able to adapt to the wave and/or wind direction. On at least one side of the main moonpool there is arranged a substantially slot-shaped moonpool (2, 6) which extends in spaced relation to the centre of rotation (3) of the installation, which slot-shaped moonpool is designed to receive at least a riser (5, 8) which extends from the seabed to the installation. Alternatively, on at least one side of the main moonpool there is arranged a plurality of small moonpools (11, 13), which are positioned in spaced relation to the centre of rotation (3) of the installation. The small moonpools (11, 13) are designed to receive at least a riser (12, 14), which extends from the seabed to the installation.
