A composition primarily intended for use in the manufacture of polyurethane binder formulations, especially anionic polyurethane dispersions, is disclosed. The composition comprises at least one neutralised dihydroxyfunctional monocarboxylic acid, such as 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propanoic acid, neutralised with at least one amine, and in addition thereto at least one organic solvent and optionally at least one liquid diol. |
