Combined decortication and milling unit for cereals
摘要
Corn is fed through an inlet (2) into the first compartment of a hopper (3). The hopper is divided into multiple sections at its lower end and falls onto a high-speed rotor (4). Grain broken by contact with the rotor is deflected by a guide vane (6) onto a plate (7) having adjustable guide walls (11) to advance and re-feed the intermediate size product back to the rotor via the hopper system. Each hopper section has two outlets (5a,5b) available for takeoff. The milling rotor may have one or a series of graded particle size, diamond dust abrasive coating bands along its working length.
