<p>The invention concerns a device for sealing (10) an oil-filling orifice (12) in a motor vehicle, wherein the upper free end of a truncated cylindrical filling orifice (12) receives a plug (16) bearing a ring-shaped fluid seal (40) comprising two diagonally opposite snugs (18) penetrating axially into the associated radial recesses (20, 21) of a central orifice (12) of the orifice and which, when clamped in rotation, co-operate respectively with two ramps borne by a lower transverse surface (13) of the cylindrical orifice, to produce a bayonet locking of the plug (16). The invention is characterised in that the orifice (12) comprises a transverse ring-shaped partition (14) including means for indexing the angular position of insertion of the plug (16), and the lower surface of which comprises the two clamping ramps, protecting the seal (40) from oil being splattered with oil.</p> |
