<p>The harness, to form the shed in a Jacquard loom, has harness cords (6) secured to the healds (12) for the warps (13), which are operated by electric actuators in the compartments of a number of control boxes (1). The boxes are deployed in rows and/or columns forming at least one panel (A,B) over the loom. The rows of control boxes are horizontal, curved to the exterior, and are the same in each rectangular panel (A,B), or the rows intersect at equal intervals to give curved panels. The control boxes in the same row or the same column are held within concave profiles, assembled together. The profiles are locked together through holes in their wings. The gap between the profile base and the upper wing hole is greater than the gap between the base and the lower wing hole. The control boxes in certain rows of each panel (A,B) have guides (10), crossed by the harness cords from the upper actuators. The control boxes are fitted to profiles on a vertical plane, to give a free space for the circulation of a cooling fluid for the printed circuits which supply the power to the actuators, separated by internal ribs at each profile from the actuators and their control systems. At least some of the panels (A) are hinged, and work with a movement mechanism.</p> |
