The invention refers to slip rings used in the construction of small electrical machines and their manufacturing method. According to the invention, the slip rings have a V-shaped cross-section, which ensures pull out resistance when extremely high centrifugal forces are exerted. The method for manufacturing a slip rings assembly implies the exclusion of a casting mould for the epoxy resin used as an electro insulating material, by casting an epoxy resin with quartz powder filling [6] in a mould which contains a rod [2] that has a clip [3] fixed to it, on which are mounted, in sequential order, a support plate [4], an insulating spacer ring [5], a slip ring [1] with a V-shaped cross-section, another insulating spacer ring [5], another slip ring [1], another spacer ring [5] etc, the last piece being another clip [3] which completes the unit; the clips [3] and the support [4] are dismantled after polymerisation of the resin [6], thus giving the slip rings that have been cast in epoxy resin.
