The invention refers to an installation for pumping concentrated slurries, pressures, under the form of hydromass, regardless of how high its concentration is, such as siliceous sands, flotation concentrates and pulps in the mining industry, material for hydraulic fills, slags and ashes from steam power plants, etc. According to the invention, the installation has a hydromass supply tank (1), provided with an overflow pipe (2). The supply tank (1) is coupled to some similar pumping units (A and B), the pumping unit (A) having a main pressure tank (3) which is coupled to the supply tank (1) by means of a pipe fitting (4) and a flap (5). The hydromass is fluidised with a water jet, by means of a pipe fitting (6) and of a valve (7). The supply tank (1) is also coupled to a recovery tank (8) via a pipe (9). In order to actuate the installation, a hydraulic cylinder (12), provided with a piston (13), is connected, by means of a pipe fitting (10) and a pipe (1), to the recovery tank (8).
