The prosthesis, designed to be, is made with three linked zones with different characteristics. A central cylindrical zone has a variable diameter and rigidity depending on clinical requirements. The distal zone (C) is more supple to reduce tissue erosion, and the proximal zone (A), which has a diameter of less than 3 mm, is made from a succession of segments and is designed to facilitate insertion into the cavernous body. The central zone of the prosthesis, because of its friction with the cavernous body, creates an effect of semi-rigidity, while the proximal zone is more flexible and pliable, making the prosthesis easy to conceal.
