<p>The device has a tensioner (14) for the button and buttonhole strips at the top and bottom ends of the button strip (7), at the carrier frame (1). The tensioners (14) can move against each other, and have support units (16,18) at an adjustable angle to the button strip (7). The spreading and tensioning support unit (15) is at the carrier frame (1) for the shirt waist and/or jibs with spreader supports for the cuffs (9) each with two spreaders with relative movements to each other. The supports are sleeve or half-sleeve cylinders. They are spread apart by a spring, and pressed together manually against the spring. The supports have perforated surfaces to allow a flow through them. The tensioner (14) has a number of clamping pads with counter surfaces. The pads have a grip surface structure, to hold the shirt (6) fabric, or both the pads and the counter surfaces have gripping claddings which are permeable to air and/or guide moisture passing through them. The shoulder supports (18) at the carrier frame (1) are at the level of the tensioner (14), at an angle to the button strip (7) line, which are adjustable to the shirt armhole seam (11) on linkage mountings. Individual radiant and/or convection heating units are at the supports. A machine drive sets the carrier frame and/or the shirt supports. A fan blower (4) is fitted to the carrier frame (1), with its pressure side towards the shirt (6) interior. The supports for the shirt waist (8), neck (12) and cuffs (9) are open, and have air guides, and an air guide (17) is between the blower (4) and the waist support (15), which can be adjusted for length and position. The carrier frame has a smooth surface at the button strip (7). A central control sets the position of the carrier frame (1) and the supports. The carrier frame (1) is on a vertical pillar (2), with a base fitted with rollers (3).</p> |
