The present invention relates to a method and circuit for pre-distorting a signal to eliminate the non-linearities of the input/output characteristics of non-linear stages, and in particular to eliminate third-order non-linearities. More particularly, it relates to a method and circuit for pre-distorting, for external optical modulators of the Mach-Zehnder type.
