PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regeneration of a reactor neutron instrumentation guide pipe capable of prolonging the life of the reactor neutron instrumentation guide pipe and solving the problem of the space for the storage disposal place accompanying the longer life of the reactor by restoring the neutron irradiation damage of the reactor neutron instrumentation guide pipe and restoring the reliability of the materials. SOLUTION: In the method for regeneration of the reactor neutron instrumentation guide pipe 1 made of stainless steel subjected to irradiation with a prescribed quantity of neutrons, the inside and outside surfaces of the reactor neutron instrumentation guide pipe 1 are subjected to heat treatment over the entire part thereof by a heating device 2, by which the neutron irradiation damage to the reactor neutron instrumentation guide pipe 1 is restored.
