<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the formation of oxidizing material and a rise in COD to prevent a reducing in functions of a sewage treating device, and to restrain the deterioration of adsorptive resin of the sewage treating device. SOLUTION: In an oxidizing air supply control method for a flue gas desulfurizer provided with an absorber 5 in which liquid absorbent 2 that uses lime as absorbent is brought into contact with waste gas to absorb and remove SO2 in the waste gas and oxidizing air is blown into the liquid absorbent 2 that is brought into contact with the waste gas, the oxidizing air is blown into the absorber 5 by the quantity corresponding to the absorbed quantity of SO2 in the waste gas, and also oxidation-reduction potential 32 of the liquid absorbent 2 is detected to correct the blown quantity of the oxidizing air so that the oxidation-reduction potential 32 is kept within the range of set value.</p> |
