<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to make the neck of a golf club shorter and lighter while maintaining the sufficiently high mounting strength of a shaft to the head of the golf club, to facilitate club assembly and to efficiently produce the golf club. SOLUTION: A neck hole 6 to be inserted with a shaft 2 is formed to a blind shape from the top end face of the neck 3 down to the depth at which a base wall part 5 remains between itself and a head sole face 4. The outer peripheral surface of the shaft 2 inserted into the neck hole 6 and the inner peripheral surface 6a of the neck hole 6 and the front end face 2a of the shaft 2 and the front surface of the bottom wall part 5 are respectively adhered. The head 1 is formed to a hollow wood shape made of a metal. The bottom wall part 5b forming the base 6b of the neck hole 6 comprises a part of the sole wall part 9.</p> |
