PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a webbing from slipping, even if a tension is applied to it at any angle. SOLUTION: A freely turnable plate 20 is fitted between two side arms and between a laterally extending bar 30 and a connecting device. This plate has an engaging surface being in contact with the engaging surface of the laterally extending bar 30. To selectively turn the plate capable of being freely turned, a releasing device is fitted on the side arm at least on one side. The webbing of a definite length inserted into this device is securely held between the engaging surface of the bar laterally extended and the engaging surface of the freely turnable plate until the releasing device is operated. By the friction due to the engaging surface and the pressure from the freely turnable plate, even if a tension is applied from any angle, the webbing is prevented from being drawn out of the device, and the webbing is simply adjusted by means of the releasing device. |
