PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition exhibiting excellent detergency against pollution caused by mineral oils, animal oils, vegetable oils, metal oxides, silicone oxides or the like, pollution by soot or earth and sand or complex pollution thereof by admixing an alkali metal salt or amine salt of an oxycarboxylic acid and an aminocarboxylic acid, an alkali metal salt or an ammonium salt of a thiocarboxylic acid and a surfactant. SOLUTION: There are usually admixed 10-30 pts.wt. of a compound selected from the group consisting of alkali metal salts and amine salts of an oxycarboxylic acid, 1-40 pts.wt. of a compound selected from the group consisting of alkali metal salts and amine salts of an aminocarboxylic acid, 5-70 pts.wt. of a compound selected from the group consisting of alkali metal salts and ammonium salts of a thiocarboxylic acid and 0.5-10 pts.wt. of a surfactant selected from the group consisting of nonionic, anionic and cationic surfactants. The pH of the composition is adjusted to 5-8 by controlling the amount of the alkali component. |
