PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition capable of obtaining SMC moldings having excellent surface gloss, surface-smoothness and, at the same time, excellent mechanical strength. SOLUTION: An unsaturated polyester resin composition comprises 20-50 mass parts polystyrene having a number average molecular weight of 70,000-200,000 as the shrinkage reducing agent based on 100 mass parts of an unsaturated polyester and a crosslinking agent. In this instance, the polystyrene can be used as a 20-50 mass% styrene solution. |
