摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition generating remarkably decreased scratch defect compared with the single use of an acrylic resin and useful for the coating of aluminum, or the like, by combining an acrylic resin with colloidal silica. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) an acrylic resin containing alkoxysiliyl group and carboxyl group, (B) an aqueous resin dispersion produced from an organic/inorganic composite resin reacted with colloidal silica by neutralizing the resin with a basic substance (e.g. monomethylamine) and (C) an amino resin. It is preferable e.g. to use a copolymer of anα,β-ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, an alkoxysilyl-containingα,β-ethylenic unsaturated monomer and other,α,β-ethylenic unsaturated monomer as the component A and an alkoxymethylated melamine resin produced by alkoxylating at least a part of methylol group with a lower alcohol as the component C.
