PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an ink supply time and a printing time in an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The ink of an ink tank 107 passes through an ink supply port 113 and an ink passage 108 to be supplied to the vicinity of a heater 100. An ink droplet 106 is emitted from an emitting orifice in predetermined timing by supplying a current to the heater 100 to be subjected to image formation. A supply tank 70 is arranged above the ink tank 107. An ink supply control valve 75 is attached to an ink supply tube 74 to control an ink supply amt. The lower end of the ink supply tube is separated from the ink tank 107 to be brought to a non-contact state. |
