PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device for slide door simple in structure, capable of obtaining a sufficient braking force when a slide door is closed, and capable of opening lightly when the slide door is opened. SOLUTION: A simultaneously rotating member 24 is installed around a wheel 4 of a sash roller 1 installed at a lower rail A1 of a slide door A. The simultaneously rotating member 24 is supported by a supporting member 6 through a pin 26 so that it is rotated with the wheel 4 in a specified angle rangeθ. When the slide door is closed, an end part 33 of the simultaneously rotating member 24 on the traveling direction side is brought in contact slidably with a friction member 46 located in a friction area B set on a rail member so as to apply a braking force. When the slide door is opened, the end part 33 of the simultaneously rotating member 24 is moved upward apart from the friction area B by merely moving the slide door slightly. Thus the slide door can be opened with a light operating force.
