FIBER-REINFORCED CONCRETE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply various excellent properties of a monofilament even to a concrete use and improve the toughness of the concrete in relation to a fiber- reinforced concrete prepared by mixing relatively short inorganic fibers in a concrete and a method for producing the fiber-reinforced concrete by using fibers after measurement, bundling and processing and usual equipment for producing the concrete. SOLUTION: This fiber-reinforced concrete is composed so as to mix 0.1-3.0 vol.% nonmetal inorganic fibers having 5-100 degree of bundled binding after measurement, bundling and processing and is produced by mixing 0.1-3.0 vol.% nonmetal inorganic fibers having 5-100 degree of bundled binding after the measurement, bundling and processing, adding a water-reducing admixture in an amount of 0.5-3.0 wt.% based on the cement thereto and regulating the kneading conditions to 10-40 r.p.m. stirring speed and 0.5-10 min stirring time.
