PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method of a plate-shaped resin material which eliminates limitation on a length of a welding operation for one time by dispensing with a jig for contact-bonding and retention of joining faces of the plate- shaped resin material, which enables self-contact-bonding and retention of the joining faces of the plate-shaped resin material so as to improve an operation efficiency sharply and which enables joining of the end edges of the plate-shaped resin material mutually by means other than welding the faces and enables compensation of insufficiency of a joining strength and attainment of a high joining strength. SOLUTION: Fitting parts 2A and 2B which fit with each other and can hold the fitting are provided at the end edges of a plate-shaped resin material 1 to be joined, while a conductive wire 5 is buried in the joining face of either the fitting part 2A or 2B. After the end edges of the plate-shaped resin material 1 are joined together by the fitting parts 2A and 2B, the conductive wire 5 is energized and thereby the resin of the joining faces of the fitting parts 2A and 2B is heated and melted to be welded. |
