PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag system for a front passenger seat capable of reducing the developing speed of an airbag, and reducing the impact on an occupant moved forward when a vehicle is collided. SOLUTION: A gas generator is arranged in a case 16 of an airbag system 11 for a front passenger seat in an extending manner in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and a cylindrical inflator is arranged in a case of the gas generator in an extending manner in the same direction. An airbag 31 is stored in the case 16 in the prescribed folding condition. An inner bag 41 to control the gas flow is arranged in the airbag 31 in the prescribed folding condition. An auxiliary inner bag 46 is sewn to an outer side of a bag body 42 of the inner bag 41. When the inner bag 41 is inflated and developed, a bag body 42 presses the airbag 31 against a front glass 12, and the auxiliary inner bag 46 presses the airbag 31 against an instrument panel 13. |
