PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method allowing a trunnion type suspension to be assembled to a chassis frame safely, easily and rapidly. SOLUTION: After sub-assembling most of constituent members on an assembly truck 66, the assembly truck 66 is moved into a position below a chassis frame 68, and a trunnion base 10 is fastened to the chassis frame 68. The rear ends of front and rear upper adjusting rods with one ends pivotally fixed to the chassis frame side in advance are pivotally fixed to a rear front axle 28 and a rear axle 30. The assembly truck 66 is provided with a base elevated by a scissors lifter 82 or the like, and an assembly base 108 supported through an intermediate base, and a bearer for mounting the rear front axle 28, the rear rear axle 30, the trunnion base 10 and a trunnion shaft assembly is provided on the assembly base 108. The assembly base 108 is provided in the state of being turnable as well as displaceable in the longitudinal and cross directions of the chassis frame 68. |
