PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink cartridge being loaded to an ink cartridge recorder in which the loading/unloading performance of the ink cartridge is enhanced by providing a protrusion for hooking a finger on the cartridge body. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 7 to be mounted on a carriage unit has a cartridge body 41 containing an ink absorber 42 and the upper opening of a case 43 is closed by an upper cover member 44. A protrusion 81 is formed on the upper cover member 44 of the ink cartridge 7 and a recess 82 corresponding to the protrusion 81 is made. A nonslip part 81a is formed on the inclining face of the protrusion 81 on the recess 82 side. Since a finger can be hooked between the protrusion 81 and the end part of the cartridge body 41 at the time of loading the ink cartridge 7 to the cartridge holder of a carriage unit or unloading the ink cartridge 7 therefrom, loading/unloading of the ink cartridge 7 can be facilitated. |
