PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a heat-sensitive stencil printing base paper of superior perforation sensitivity and improved resolution, printing quality level and resistance to printing at the time of printing and also manufacture its base film. SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive stencil printing base paper polyester film is composed of 3-50 molar % 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid component out of acid type content and 5-70 molar % 1,4-butanediol component out of a glycol component, and the melting point of the film is 100-220 deg.C and the glass transition temperature is 50-74 deg.C, and a heat-sensitive stencil printing base paper is composed substantially of its polyester film body only.
