<p>The filler consists of an adapter (4) for connecting to a source of water under pressure, and a non-return valve (7) inside the adapter. It also has a graduated valve (10) between the non-return valve and the container (2) which responds to the pressure inside the container and shuts off the water flow to it when the pressure reaches a given level. The graduated valve is attached to a membrane (12) which has one surface facing towards the container while the other is isolated from it by a sealed cage (14) containing a spring (15) which exerts a pressure against the membrane to hole the valve open while the air pressure inside the container is below the given level.</p> |
