PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain compactness also attain simplification of a control system, in a running assist device for a vehicle driving a right/left wheel by an electric motor. SOLUTION: This device has a differential device 20 constituted by a double pinion type planet gear, a drive motor 7 connecting an output shaft 7s to a ring gear 21 of the differential device 20, and a generator/motor 8 connecting an output shaft 8s to a sun gear 22 of the differential device 20. A left rear wheel 4L is connected to the output shaft 8s of the generator/motor 8, a right rear wheel 4R is connected to a carrier 23 of the differential device 20 through a shaft 22s pierced through the output shaft 7s of the drive motor 7. |
