PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire extinguishing device for a lithium secondary battery storehouse excellent in safety. SOLUTION: A fire extinguishing equipment for the lithium secondary battery storehouse is a fire extinguishing device for the lithium secondary battery storehouse for keeping plural lithium secondary batteries and is composed of a keeping position detection means for detecting the keeping position of the battery in the case that abnormality is generated in the lithium secondary battery kept inside the storehouse, a fire extinguishing means for performing the primary fire extinguishment of the battery at the keeping position, a fire extinguishing box capable of performing the secondary fire extinguishment of the battery in a tightly sealed space and a moving means for moving the battery from the keeping position into the fire extinguishing box after the primary fire extinguishment. That is, by performing the primary fire extinguishment at the keeping position of the battery and then performing the secondary fire extinguishment inside the fire extinguishing box, a fire scale is minimized and the safety is more excellent as the fire extinguishing device. |
