<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the release of the connection of a ball ramp operation type clutch when the direction of an input torque is reversed. SOLUTION: A clutch assembly body 2 generates the relative rotation of a control ring 14 and an operation ring 12 in accordance with an electromagnetic field generated by a coil 30 and operates a ball ramp mechanism 5 to give tightening force to clutch discs 10, 11. The control ring 14 can be connected with a pair of planetary gears 21 through a control clutch 24. When a rotation speed of an input shaft 8 of a transmission which is an output means more than a flywheel 4 which is an input means increases, the rotation of a planetary gear 42A of the pair of planetary gears 21 is stopped by a second one-way clutch 44A so that driving force of the input shaft 8 of the transmission is transmitted to the control ring 14. The control ring 14 is relatively rotated in the direction in which tightening force for the clutch discs 10, 11 is increased for the operation ring 12.</p> |
