PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable imparting of high functional characteristics to a film while maintaining productivity at a high level by adding a crosslinking promoter to a solution containing a water-soluble or a water-dispersible organic polymer, a crosslinking agent or a crosslinking polymer and consequently, efficiently promoting the action to crosslink a coat without reducing a line velocity. SOLUTION: An unstretched sheet is obtained by melting and extruding polyethylene terephthalate containing 0.2 wt.% of amorphous silica and casting the extruded sheet onto a cooling drum to be quenched. Next, the sheet thus obtained is stretched in the longer direction and then a coating agent composed mainly of 20 wt.% of a water-soluble epoxy compound composed mainly of 50 wt.% of a polyester polymer, 30 wt.% of an acrylic polymer and 20 wt.% of a water-soluble epoxy compound containing tetraglycerol tetraglycidylether as a principal component, 1 wt.% of N,N-diethylethanol amine to each of the described weight percents and water as the principal component of a medium, is gravure-coated on one of the faces of the film. After drying the coat, the film is stretched crosswise and taken up in roll as the laminated film. |
