PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a modified polyester which imparts high homogeneity and dispersibility and, at the same time, withstands direct membrane forming, direct spinning or the like and removes the nonuniformity of dispersion with time in producing a modified polyester by the addition of a modifier to a continuously polymerized polyester. SOLUTION: In adding a modifier-containing polyester to the base polymer line 3 for the base polyester obtained by continuous polymerization, the modifier- containing polyester and the base polyester are mixed by being passed through a static mixing apparatus 8 and additionally passed through a dynamic mixing apparatus 9 having a rotational agitating blade and arranged in the same line 3. |
