<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique to obtain high compression efficiency in low price without sacrificing durability in a turbo-charger which is constructed to prevent surging, choking, etc. SOLUTION: A turbo-charger with sliding member is provided with a new air passage 23 to guide fresh air to a compressor impeller in a compressor housing, a first air inlet and exhaust port 18 formed on a part of a compressor housing wall facing to the compressor impeller, a second air inlet and exhaust port 19 faced on the more upstream fresh air passage than the compressor impeller, and a by-pass line connecting the first and second air inlet and exhaust ports. The sliding member 15 is attached at least on a part of the compressor housing wall facing to the blade edge of the compressor impeller.</p> |
