PRODUCTION OF POLYAMIDE FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a stretched polyamide film excellent in thickness uniformity at a high speed in an industrially stable manner. SOLUTION: A molten polyamide resin is extruded into a sheet shape from a T-die 3 and the extruded sheet 8 is closely brought into contact with the surface of a rotary cooling roll 4 while air is blown to the sheet in the lateral direction thereof from an air knife device 9 to be cooled and solidified and the cooled sheet is stretched to produce a polyamide film. In this method, the angleθformed by the straight line connecting a die lip and the contact point of the extruded sheet 8 with the rotary cooling roll 4 and a horizontal line is set to -30 to +30 deg. to cool and solidify the extruded sheet.
