PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expandable styrene resin particle composition which has a fine cell structure, gives an expandable styrene resin molded product with a good appearance and is especially useful as food containers or packing or cushioning materials, and a preparation method thereof. SOLUTION: An expandable styrene resin particle composition is obtained by impregnating a foamable styrene resin particle, which is obtained by suspension-polymerizing styrene monomers, has an average particle size of from 0.05 to 2.0 mm and comprises from 3 to 10 wt.% easily-volatilizing blowing agent, with a polyether-moldified silicone compound. |
