A pack of cigarettes or cigars comprises a group of such articles (10) lying parallel to each other and to a longitudinal axis (12). The articles are wrapped in an inner sleeve (14), a foil layer (16), an outer jacket (18), and an outer plastics film (20) which is sealed to close the pack. The pack may be cylindrical or square in cross section, in each case having substantially the same dimension in two mutually perpendicular directions in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (12). Preferably, with a cylindrical pack, the pack will contain 4, 7 or 19 cigarettes. |
