A clothing attachment device for portable equipment such as a mobile telephone. The device comprises a clip (1) for attachment to an article of clothing, a flexible strap (2) and a releasable fastening device (3). The fastening device (3) is operable to retain or release a clamp ring (4) which forms part of, or is attached to, the equipment (not shown) to be carried. The drawing shows the normal position of the clamp ring (4) during carrying of the equipment. The equipment may be released by twisting it so as to rotate the clamp ring (4) through approximately 180 DEG from the position shown. In this position the clamp ring (4) can be removed. |
