FIELD: refueling fusion reactors and diagnosing fusion power plant plasma. SUBSTANCE: injector has vacuum chamber whose channel accommodates pellet shaping cell with heat exchanger. Second-stage pipe is provided with gas admission valve. Second stage accommodates piston installed therein for displacement. First-stage tank communicates with second stage through valve. Injector also has first-stage tank filler valve and diagnostic chamber. Inner space of pellet shaping cell is made in the form of truncated cone whose axis is aligned with that of channel. Smaller diameter of cone equals inner diameter of channel. Larger diameter of cone equals inner diameter of second-stage pipe. Angle at cone top is smaller than 90 deg. EFFECT: increased speed of pellets. 1 dwg
