The integrated circuit (10) is immersed in a conducting liquid (52) except for the input/output terminals (14) connected to an addressing module (54) and microcomputer (56). Potentials (58) are applied to individual or groups of sensitive elements (12) and the response currents which indicate element quality are collected by a counter electrode (60) for measurement.
