The lock consists of a rotor (10) inside a sleeve (15) and a series of transverse sliding tumblers (12) which engage with the sleeve and are retracted by inserting a key to allow the rotor to turn. The deployed position of the tumblers is determined by a plastics bar (32) which extends axially inside the rotor and presses elastically against the edges of the tumblers using a series of elastic arms (42). The bar (32) consists of a main body of rectangular cross-section, with the arms (40) extending transversely from one of its edges. Each tumbler has a notch (36) in one outer edge for the bar to engage with and a projection (37) on the other to limit its radial movement. |
