A flat tube (1), made from folded metal sheet forming two parallel channels (2, 3) and a partition (4), has supporting projections (6) made from one edge of the sheet to connect with the heat exchanger's cooling fins on assembly. The projections are made on the edge (5) of the panel which is folded outwards through 180 degrees after being folded inwards to form part of the partition.
