PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing the subject wet-accumulated web. SOLUTION: This method for producing a nonwoven fibrous ultra-absorbing web comprises (1) preparing an aqueous slurry containing (a) fibers about 0.1-28 denier in fineness on average and about 0.3-15 mm in fiber length on average, (b) a granular hydrogel-forming ultra-absorbing polymer about 0.1-1.0 mm in average size, and (c) a group I metal salt, (2) producing a deliquefied thin web structure from the slurry, and (3) drying the web structure. |
